Somthing that doesn't often down here

I just had to share this with you all. This doesn't happen that often down here in Southest Texas.

The last time Houston/Katy had temps this low was in 1989.

This is the outdoor baptismal fount at our church CrossPoint Community Church. I have a feeling that no one will be baptized this weekend at least not in the fount. :) The temps are still supposed to be in the teens at night all weekend and in the 20s or low 30s during the day. The wind is just whipping away causing windchills that are low too.

My blood has thinned out in the 8 years I have lived here its affecting me big time.

Blessings

Christmas 2009

I know I have been missing from blogging world since August but it truly has been a long several months.

Caleb turned 5. We went on a family vacation for 2 weeks to Connecticut to visit Babchie and then Uncle Hose in Virginia. He took us to the Air/Space center and the kids had fun! As soon as I find the pictures I will post some of them. Then home for the kids to start school. They are both enjoying school this year and have GREAT teachers. Caleb will do ANYTHING for his teacher.

Holloween came and went with a Fairy Princess, Fireman and Pirate in our house. They are finally getting the concept of what Holloween is and had fun. As a matter of fact I walked with them and had to remind Robert over and over that once you ring the door bell you do NOT have to knock on the door continuously too..LOL Once we did the block it was off to our church for Fall Festival. They had a blast.

November came in with a bang. My one year anniversary of my lap band procedure arrived with a 38lb weight loss ( I am not over 40lbs lost), Sarah turned 2 with much more fanfare then last years birthday. Then off to gran and gran daddy's house for Thanksgiving. I have a bunch of pictures of that and will get those posted as well. We saw Sarah's godparents again which was so good for Sarah. The boys had a ball helping gran daddy with the sheep. They got to help sort them, tag the new ones and take some of the rams to market. They were even on site with a new lamb was born.

Well that brings us up to Christmas and that will be another separate post.

But I have alot to do and need to sign off again. But don't worry Christmas is coming!!!

Blessings!
